More Spectators in this year’s Kadaugan sa Mactan
This year’s commemoration of the epic battle in Mactan, 487 years ago was more popular than ever.
Kadaugan sa Mactan is a celebration that depict a battle in Philippine history of the victory of native chieftain, Lapu-Lapu who fought off the Spanish invaders led by Ferdinand Magellan on April 27, 1521.
No less than Manny Pacquiao played the role of Datu Lapu-Lapu and actor Dennis Trillo portrayed the Portuguese Conqueror, Ferdinand Magellan.
